About Ọjàṣàyé
Ọjàṣàyé ("we", "us", "our") is a Nigerian online marketplace that connects farmers and livestock merchants ("Merchants") directly with buyers ("Buyers") across Nigeria. We operate at omololaomotalade.github.io/ojasaye.
By accessing or using Ọjàṣàyé — whether as a Buyer, Merchant, or visitor — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Ọjàṣàyé is a marketplace platform. We facilitate transactions between Buyers and Merchants but we are not a party to the sale itself. The contract for the purchase and sale of goods is between the Buyer and the Merchant.

Listing products
- All products listed must be genuine, legally obtained, and accurately described
- Photos must represent the actual product — stock photos that misrepresent quality are prohibited
- Prices must include all applicable costs to the buyer (excluding delivery)
- Stock levels must be maintained accurately. Listing products you cannot fulfil is a violation

- Do not list prohibited items (see Section 6)
- Respond to buyer disputes within 48 hours
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date business information

Payments & Fees
Payment processing
All payments are processed securely by Paystack. Ọjàṣàyé does not store card details. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's terms of service.
VAT
VAT at 7.5% applies to non-exempt products. Fresh produce (fruits, vegetables, grains) is VAT-exempt under Nigerian tax law. VAT is calculated and displayed at checkout.
Merchant payouts
Merchant payouts are processed after deducting the 5% platform commission and applicable payment processing fees. Payout timelines depend on your registered bank account and Paystack's processing schedule.
